Stari Grad
THE PORT
The port of Stari Grad is about 4 km far from the town of Stari Grad and 15 km far from the town of Hvar. Stari Grad is connected with the Croatian ports of Split, Dubrovnik, Rijeka and the Italian ports of Ancona and Pescara. If you do not have a heavy luggage you can walk toward the city along a footpath that runs along the sea; otherwise you can take advantage of the line of coach Hvar-Stari Grad (about 20 km) that make a stop at the harbor and then continue toward the bus station of Stari Grad. From Stari Grad there are some daily departures for the other cities on the island of Hvar.

TOURIST OFFICE
The tourist office is located in Nova Riva 2 and is opened during the months of July and August every day from 8 to 14 and from 17 to 21, while in June and September from monday to friday (8 -14) and on saturday (10 - 12). The telephone number is 021/765-763. Website www.stari-grad-faros.hr
